World's Worst Blogger.....

1st Aggie football Game
Corpus
Paige's true self.

A lot has been happening with The Perrone's and Potato Shack over the last couple of months.  For those of you who do not know, we opened a new location in Katy.  That is where I am from and were my family all still lives.  It has been a challenging yet wonderful experience.  We are still working out all of the newness that comes with a new challenge, but its coming along.  If you live in Katy and have not stopped by, what are you waiting for!:)

Paige is getting so big!  It is amazing that my tiny baby has turned into this beautiful, funny, amazing little girl.  She has the best personality and has just a zest for life.  Lee and I always joke that we wish we had her energy.  She wakes up singing, talking and laughing.  We have been so blessed.  Since I have not posted in forever, I thought I would include some new pics and update you on some of Paige's talents.
She can sing Twinkle, Twinkle little Star and her ABC's (all of them except xyz) they do not exist in her song.  She loves to race, run, climb, color, put together a puzzle.  But her favorite thing as of right now is to play with her tea set.  She will sit and serve tea to us for hours.  I need to get some pics of her play tea set with Bandit, it is pretty awesome.

It's been awhile.....

I do not know where the time goes.  This entire year has flown.  It has flown at work, with Paige, with Potato Shack.  Another year, done.....  It is funny how teachers' years end in May.  Lee considers his year over in May as well.. The students are gone then and this is when he finally has time to catch his breath.
Well, where do I begin.  I graduated last weekend with my Masters of Education in School Counseling.  I could not be more relieved to be done with school.  I have been attending classes since I found out I was pregnant with Paige.  Almost 18 months later, I graduate.  It has been such a wonderful, yet challenging experience.  I have accomplished more than I expected by 27.  I think over the next few months I really just want to focus on my family.  We have some trips planned for the summer, so that will be a nice break.
Paige is doing awesome.  She is talking all the time.  She can now say:  puppy, mommy, daddy, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, milk, please, thank you, "here you go", baby, mamaw, papaw, no... Those are the ones most used.  However, she calls all animals puppies, we are working on this.:)  We have an apt in a few weeks.  I will keep you posted on her stats.  At her 15 month apt, she had only grown a quarter of an inch and gained half a pound.  She is our petite girl.  I am posting pics from graduation, Paige looks like such a little girl, she is losing her baby look.  It makes me sad.

Super Paige!

P for Paige, Super Paige that is....
Doesn't she look like a super hero?
I prob. have one of the most creative bestfriends ever.  My friend Charlene, had a super hero birthday party for her son Creed.  (He turned 4).  It was a really neat idea.  Charlene sewed everyone a reverseable superhero cape.  Everyone had different patterns and such.  Then, she cut out the first letter of their name for them to put on their cape and decorate.  Paige loved hers.  Matter of fact, it was hard to get her to take it off, hence, the food stains on it.  I just had to show Paige off in her super hero cape, thought she just looked precious.

Spring Break, SeaWorld and Shamu!

Loving the drive through zoo
not sure of the goat.
us!
Paige and I at the zoo, check out the lion.

That is right, we took Paige to Seaworld for Spring Break.  We were really wanting to get away for some family time and thought Seaworld would be perfect.  Paige loved it.  She clapped through the entire Shamu show and cried when we left the penguins.  She did awesome all day.  We stayed at the most awesome hotel that I recommend for anyone with kids vacation in San Antonio.  It was one mile for Seaworld.  I was really worried about Paige sleeping in the same room as us, but she did awesome.  SHe is so go with the flow it is crazy.   She even slept in both mornings, I think we really wore her out.  It was so wonderful for us all to get away and relax and really spend time with Paige and just enjoy each other.  Love Spring break, Love it!

Just another candle on the cake...

Sunday was my 27th birthday.  27 is one of those weird birthdays, no milestone, nothing great happens, you just turn 27.  I did not dread 27, I embraced it.  When I think of all of the great things that have happend and are to come this year it makes 27 really fabulous.

While I am 27 I,
1.  Will graduate with a master's degree in Counseling and work towards my LPC.
2.  Will celebrate my 4 year anniversary with my husband
3.  Will watch Paige grow more each day
4.  Will travel with my husband
5.  Get another niece, Yeah baby Lauren!
6.  work towards another baby (thats still up in the air)
7.  Will become a more experienced counselor
8.  Spend more time with family and learn to relax a bit!

My little Valentine

passed out after a long day!
My Valentine!

I like the idea of Valentine's Day.  I like the idea of any day that celebrates love.  I know many people think its a Hallmark holiday, maybe it is.  However, I like the idea of having one day to remember the ones you love.  This year on Valentine's Day we celebrated our family.  Paige had a birthday party at chuck-e-cheese in the Woodlands, she had so much fun.  We went and saw some friends after the party then went to eat as a family.  My husband has alway been really great at making any holiday super special.  It is one of the things I love about him.  We ate at Lupe Tortilla's and it was wonderful!  Paige passed out on the way home!

Babies and Bulldogs

Paige loves Bandit.  I could have never picked a better dog for our family.  Before Paige, Bandit was our life.  She traveled with us, rode on the boat with us, went everywhere.  She was our spoiled rotten dog.  Then Paige was born.  Since then, Bandit has taken a backseat.  She is still loved but not getting all the attention she was use to--until recently, Paige has adopted Bandit as her dog.  The relationship they have is priceless.  Paige kissed Bandit, hugs her, rides her, plays toys with her and lays in her bed.  I am not sure Bandit loves her new bestfriend but she is so sweet through it all.  Here are a few pics of the past couple of nights of the two of them.  Priceless.
